Pioneer Days

Our ward reenacted the meeting where the Relief Society was first created. I was asked to play Elizabeth Ann Whitney, who was Emma Smith's 1st counselor. I was disappointed that Mary Fielding Smith wasn't one of the parts to choose from. Here is a picture of my mom and I that night. The bucket I am holding is Brigham Young's bucket.

Sarah must be the "chosen one" - what is that mysterious glow around your head? Hmmmm...
Sarah - You are so obedient. If I had had the part, I would have said something like, "Yes, my name is Elizabeth Whitney, but I would like to tell you all about the life of my good friend Mary Fielding Smith, who was born in England...."
